Interested in the ambiguous and in that which holds its opposite, Jaleh Negari plays with different mediums and examines various encounters between visual and sonic expressions.
She works with instrumental and electronic music, graphic paintings and scores, installation and performance art.
Searching for new connections arising from unfit relations, she builds her works by simple lines, textures and repetitive patterns. Artwork by ink, charcoal and acrylic on paper and foil.
Music made on drums, synthesizer, samples and field-recordings on a half electronic setup.
